Looking for a Care Partner Who: • Possesses applicable credentials as required by state • A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience working with older adults (preferred) * Assist with all care needs a resident might require including, but not limited to, toileting, ambulation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, escorting, and transferring from place to place. * Attend and participate in the scheduled mandatory in-services • Will assist in the dining room during mealtimes including, but not limited to, set up, take meal/beverage orders, serve, bus tables. * Required to assist with activities when required and/or be responsible for getting the residents to scheduled activities. • Maintains acceptable attendance record/follows work schedule. • Displays cleanliness, good grooming, personal appearance and follows dress requirements consistently. • Delivers and re-stocks the residents' incontinent supplies. • Assists with resident laundry service. • Organizes and utilizes time appropriately toward accomplishing assigned tasks; requires minimal supervision • Collects and disposes trash in designated receptacles. • Required to assist with a gait belt, sit to stand lift, transfer board, oxygen equipment, catheter, specimen, transfer pole, trapeze, wheelchair, scale, and other equipment as directed by the supervisor. • Assists in the taking accurate vital signs and weights. • Accurately assists in the completion of an incident reports. Aware of and can perform assigned housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, wiping down handrails, chairs, and tables, picking up newspapers, clean bathrooms, re-stock toilet and paper towels and mop. • Maintains general cleanliness of the resident's apartment (cleans commodes, hi-rise toilet seats). • Does not disrupt resident's belongings when in the apartment unless specifically asked to do so by the resident. • Reports to maintenance/Executive Director/Resident Care Coordinator regarding any safety issues in resident's apartment such as frayed cords, broken furniture/equipment, etc. • Notifies management when an incident or error occurs while on shift. • Reads the daily shift to shift communication and documents appropriately of any duties left for the next shift • Passion: Committed to being the well-spring of support, opportunity, vitality, balance, and dignity to those we serve • Teamwork: Respects and values others • Caring: Demonstrates empathy as well as a nurturing and loving attitude towards others • Accountability: Holds oneself and team to the highest standards If this sounds like you, apply today.
